Notes: The site was named for Kathie Hill who was a weather observer at the South Pole for many years. The station elevation was estimated using the Radarsat Antarctic Mapping Project Digital Elevation Map, version 2 National Snow and Ice Data Center dataset by using the height above the OSU91A geoid corresponding to the coordinate nearest Kathie AWS.
